This was the cake I made last month for a friend's friend's 18th birthday. I am known for baking different kinds of cupcake and in fact, my friend asked me to bake cupcakes for the birthday party but I just decided to try something new. I made my first cake and it was a two layered chocolate cake filled with mocha mousse frosting and covered with chocolate ganache. I also filled the circumference with chocolate sprinkles and to top it off, my homemade flower fondant. At first I was hesitant to actually bring this to the party since it was my first time baking a whole cake, also because I've never met any of the girls who will be eating my cake. BUT the night came along well and everyone enjoyed the chocolate cake. :) I would definitely start baking birthday cakes for my family and friends!
Today I went for a jog early in the morning. I realized how unhealthy I've been sitting and eating for most of my stay here in Listowel. BUT! I believe that as long as the sun shines, it's never too late (so cheeseeey!, but so true haha) . Also I love waking up early now, the day seem to last a very long time. :)
